High Expectations / Low Results - 4/10. It's really mellow for the most part, it made me really tired and I could feel myself dropping off to it. Will be good to keep just to listen to in bed.

The Young Knives. "Well this music sounds pretty cool" cue vocals "Not again!" and again decent music shat on by the singer. Seems to be an occurring thing for the most part so far, anyway.

Hopefully it won't be like it through the rest of the album...

So, The Young Knives - Voices Of Animals And Men - 6/20. It's like other albums where the music is decent, but then I really dislike the vocals, but with this there is the odd song where the vocalist doesn't sound shite.

Did it for The Longcut - A Call And Response and there was one link with mediafire and the file is dead.

Faunts - High Expectations / Low Results: 8/10

Good album I thought. First song totally reminded me of a couple of BT tracks from This Binary Universe which was a good start. I thought from the third track, it changed genre a little bit and I found the tracks not so good but it went back to that more electronic ambient sound for the last few tracks which I prefer.

Yeah, this was pretty ace. Kind of a nice, chilled out ambient vibe, but with some unexpected twists and turns along the way. I don't think this is a record for going to sleep to, more a record to sit and absorb, with some quality headphones on. Hugely enjoyable.

I think I'm all updated, shout at me if I haven't added your score. It's a complex and tiresome process! Will have a new record on monday, promise. I think fortnightly is best anyway.

Yeah, that's exactly how I listen to it.

I listened to that album today after seeing you mention the similarity. Really good.

Going to go with Ozma - Rock and Roll Part Three. I have no idea what everyone will think of it, but I thnk it's awesome. Though I'll admit it's not the usual style of music I listen too.

PM, me if you want to know where to get it. *hint hint*

I'm going to score Faunt a 7/10. I liked it. Pretty chilled and I'm in an ambient mood these days.

Just got around to listening to a few more of these:

Faunts: 6/10. Not bad but it didnt really grab me in any way. Good enough though, might give it another spin in the future, sounds like it could be a grower.

Defence Mechanisms, 7/10. I really liked this one from the off, but it did drag on a bit. Cut a few tracks off it and its easy an 8.

Will work through any other ones ive missed this week.

I saw Ozma and knew Pedz had been given the choice. For what it's worth he got me into them back in I believe 2005/06. Sent me a gooseberry fool ton of stuff over MSN. Great band and a very good album, 7.5/10.

Listened to about half of Rock and Roll Part Three so far and quite liked what I heard. Very Weezer inspired.

Understatement of the year! It's almost a carbon copy of Blue/Pinkerton-era Weezer. Not that that's a bad thing of course. I can see myself listening to this a lot. Score-wise I think I'll throw it a 7, as it really is a pretty blatant rip-off.

I'm going to with a 5/10 for Rock and Roll Part Three. It was a decent rehash of certain Weezer stuff, which is fine but that ultimately made it kinda boring for me and I just wished I was listening to Weezer instead.

Weird thing for me is that, I really don't like Weezer, but really like Ozma. Funny, eh?
