THIS IS A LIE.
Just did an experiment with Sykes, a PM only gets removed from the outbox AFTER it has been read by the receiver. After I sent the information the PM was definitely read by Tiarny BEFORE the gooseberry fool hit the fan.
The Alchemist Penguin wrote:If Kanbei noticed Hank's PMs then surely anyone, even those not at all involved with PM-Gate could have noticed them too? Anyone could have seen that PM, yet it was decided that the only potential "leaks" were the people PM'd by Kanbei. Why was that? It seems like a rather large and unwise assumption. Or was it?
A fair assumption, but nobody but ME contacted Hank to check what he was (Hank confirmed this to me) and if the wolves even had an inkling that night about Hank, he would have been dead
The Alchemist Penguin wrote:Let's look at the three people PM'd by Kanbei: Mockmaster, Parksey and myself. The reason he offered was that he hoped he could trust us, and the chances of us being wolves were low. This was rather unwise, we hadn't really proved ourselves in the game and it was a massive risk to potentially send info about a seer to anyone who could possibly be in contact with a wolf. The information could spread, quickly, like a virus.
I've admitted already it was foolish, let's carry on.
The Alchemist Penguin wrote:The PM came with a warning though, that if anything should happen other people would know and gooseberry fool would go down.
This warning turned out to be almost prophetic, or rather, should I say...
intentionally planted, by KANBEI THE WOLF!
Kanbei, genius, puppet-master, wolf. Yes. Kanbei sent that PM to three of the "biggest players", knowing what was going to happen to poor Hank. Why? What better way to knock out three players the wolves couldn't yet lynch, due to their activity. A wolf would never PM info about a Seer to anyone, it's crazy, and the person who PM'd the information would never be suspected of being the mastermind that caused everything to fall apart. Or so Kanbei wanted us to think.
How could I have knocked you three out? If I really was worried about this information leaking you would be dead by now.
The Alchemist Penguin wrote:The wolves masterminded a trap that we couldn't help but fall into: Our fates were sealed the moment we received the PM! They only had to let things stew, kill Hank, and let Kanbei bring everything to light. Like dominoes, everything else would naturally spin out of control and there would be no way anyone would lynch Kanbei over the unbelievable and surely guilty suspects!
Don't think you've noticed, but today I haven't tried (that much
) to lynch you, yes you appeared in my kill list today but that was due to your semi-inactivity and the fact I sent the PM to you.
The Alchemist Penguin wrote:There is one, other, point of interest. Mori. The man famous for watching PM activity, and yet he didn't catch Hank's exchange... or did he?
The defence claims that Mori was killed by the duped vigilante to prevent Kanbei's plot from ever being revealed! Kanbei was behind it all! The wolf must pay with his life!
Duped vigilante? I know who one of the vigilantes is that hasn't revealed himself yet (I don't know who the 3rd one is) he is the one who killed G-Rat and Dblock, Mocky can back me up on this point.
Also remember,
I HAVE BEEN SEERED AS HUMAN. Do you honestly think that the Alpha Wolf would get himself caught up in a mess like this? It would be downright idiotic and stupid.
