I suggest if we haven't killed the count by the time all the vamps have been killed we don't en-fuse anyone with the power of protection

KP never had anywhere near the amount of suspicion around him, though.

Can't really contribute today, I think TAP mentioned I have an exam. Nonetheless, this is my vote for TAP, and remember to vote to lynch Luke_25!

I still don't approve the level of secrecy involved around the identity of villagers. I'm fine with not knowing who the special posse are, but it seems pointless to withhold who is and isn't a villager.

For one you can't confirm a villager as they could be the count. For two, the mafia will leave alive villagers who haven't been contacted by a special role as to force them to seer more people and if they kill off the villagers who are in league with the seers then they lose contacts they can trust.

You can't trust anyone unless they have a special role.

So TAP has my backing

And really, the Seers are going to need to be seer-ing more people every night anyway if we want any chance of finding the vampires, so it doesn't really matter if the vamps kill people who've been seered as villagers, because they're just eliminating the suspicion of those people being the Count...

No, you're wrong.

The less the vampires know about the seers' knowledge, the better.

This restricts them to having to choose who to kill based on their own gameplan.

If TAP seers a villager and announces their name in the thread, the vamps can kill that villager the same night, thus wasting that day's seer power.

If the vamps know nothing, they have to either kill at random, kill those who they see as threats, or kill those who they think will force us into following dead leads. But if they kill villagers that TAP hasn't seered, that means the longer those villagers remain alive and the more of them TAP is aware of, the stronger and more useful that information becomes.

EDIT: And of course, as the number of people in the game decreases, the more likely it is that there will be reasoning behind vamp kills, which we can then analyse to see if there are trends, patterns, theories etc. If we name a villager and they then kill that villager, we neither learn nor gain anything from that day's events.

Unless that villager is the Count.

:shifty:

EDIT: as another possibility, TAP could say that he'd seered someone who'd been suspicious through the game as a Human (after actually seering someone else, but keeping their identity a secret), then if the wolves don't kill them that night (as you said they would if TAP actually revealed who he seered), they're a guaranteed vampire, almost. There's lots of different ways it could pan out, in both our favour and the vampires.

Well it looks like i'm pretty suspicious now if Luke is indeed a vampire. Not sure how Karl has managed to avoid all suspicion though when we both backed Mocky at the exact same time. Hopefully I can be seered before I get lynched anyway, even though I know that me coming up a villager won't completely exonerate me.

The best thing about the Luke thing was him trying to deny it for about two pages before giving up

The game is essentially a race, though. Think about it this way; right now, if the seers are working together, and with the vampires killing one person per night, then we figure out three villagers per day. If the seers announce their villagers, the vamps could kill one, meaning we figure our two villagers per day, thus buying the vamps more time. Forget about the count for now - we still have two vamps to find, and three to kill, before he/she even comes into it.

Kudos to Mori, I have no idea how he did it, after about four replies calling me out on my bullshit I just couldn't be arsed anymore.

Anyone up for keeping me alive tonight, for the lulz? Where's that other Vote Rigger? :shifty:

Also - it's now past two o'clock, so The Alchemist Penguin is the mayor for today.

Assuming he's not lying - and lord knows why he might - he's sent his choices to Psykes already and he is officially mayor, meaning we can now all PM Psykes saying that we want to lynch Luke_25. Who is a vampire. And who was up for lynching on the second night. When a certain someone was mayor. :shifty: 8-)

You can PM PsychicSykes here

There are 34 players left in the game after last night's wolf kills. That means there are 14 people still in the game who didn't vote for TAP to be mayor. This is most likely meaningless information.

Everyone lynch luke. No excuse for you to not to, well unless you're a vampire in which case I hope you enjoy seeing your friends die.
