The risk of Mocky being a vampire and pulling a fast one is far outweighed by the risk of him telling the truth.

It's worth the risk surely to just find out and put it to bed.

Has anyone thought that a vampire might have been in contact with Mocky under the guise of being a Seer and giving him Mori's name to take them both down?

It means that Mocky dies for being incorrect and so does Mori for being previously suspected, thus losing two veteran villagers.

That's the perfect outcome and maybe they'd be willing to sacrifice that vamp for that result.

I think this is probably exactly what has happened. Expect to see the fake seer deny all knowledge when Mockmaster outs him later.

Is this how you'll be with everyone that gives a lead? No one will want to say anything, if they can only be proven to be villagers by death. From now on, anyobne with a lead, will die the next day, whether they net us a vamp or not, as death is the only proof of innocence.

We have a problem. Mockmaster could give us any old name and we believe him. If Mocky survives tonight and gets Mori killed, he could end up being a vampire himself, give another name of an active human and get them lynched tommorow as Mocky now cannot die until tommorow night.

Both of us can go into jail tomorrow if that is the case. Lynch one of us and the Vigilante can kill the other.
