Vampire A looks in thread and sees Villager B is going after Villager C.

Vampire A sends a kill order out for Villager B.

Twitter reveals this.

PCCD orders Vigilante to kill Villager C because twitter "proves" Villager B must be on to something.

Vigilante wastes a bullet killing Villager C, and the vampires kill three more villagers. PCCD is then also lynched the next day, due to this massive error and the villagers desire for vengeance. Total Villager Kills by Twitter : 5, Vampire Kills : 0

I think we are thinking to much, vamps surly will do their best to fit in and will not be so reckless in making simple mistakes

PCCD - I think others (TAP, Mori) have done a fine job already in explaining why your theory is (was) a bad idea, so I won't reiterate.

You may be a vampire and you may have been trying to have us believe in a Twitter account that you may have had some knowledge about/role in. You might just be completely mistaken.

However - having you and Luke up for the lynch seemed to inspire a lot of votes, in a very short space of time, that support the two of you. (Yes, some people might have voted for the random option simply out of preference - but although that isn't active 'support', it still works in your favour). This was undeniably strange. Luke has been silent today. You could almost argue that he's a 'random' pick - my nomination of him was more due to the fact that there were absolutely no other viable leads at the time - and yet people rushed to pick a different 'random' pick.

In the light of this, you and Luke are undoubtedly - and justifiably - going to be under fire as of now, because all it takes is for one of you to be a vamp, and suddenly we have a real inroads. Yes, I agree that vampires wouldn't rally so eagerly, and so soon, to the defence of one of their own. But doesn't the unlikely nature of the act mean that the vampires might risk it, assuming that us villagers might see it as so unlikely as to be credible?

I post way too much and it'll probably get me killed by the vampires as they like to eliminate active players, but the way I see it i'd rather be active and get killed than sit back and get killed for no reason (like Fatal Exception and Drumstick).

Gotcha, cheers.

When I said earlier about inactive players I didn't mean you as you had already posted a few times. I was really only referring to people who had not posted more than once thus far.

As for when to post, whenever you have an idea, an insight maybe or any other useful information you feel is worth sharing. Also it'd be nice if people were active when we actually vote for a Mayor every day and when someone dies at the end.

No problem at all, I didn't think you were, I was just trying to make sure that I didn't fall into that bracket. Having as much input from folk as possible around the 'main' times as possible is a good shout though and one I'll try to stick to. It doesn't help that the browser on my phone's turned gooseberry fool after the latest Android update.

No worries. I hope we can lay this Twitter thing to rest now as it would be a shame if it dominated the entire early-game.

I can't have been the only one who thought KP was just being Sarcy when he said he would upload a pic of his whiteboard.

Why were you so quick to throw me in without giving me a chance to defend myself. You seem hell bent on getting me lynched on the basis of me not understanding how one facet of Twitter works and suggesting there might have been something in those Tweets yet certain people are buying that without really questioning it (this was prior to Mocky coming in and continued afterward). If I was a vampire why would I be drawing attention to what was in those tweets? Surely another vampire would've told me via PM to simmer down by now?

Something else I noticed was when Staydead did start to defend me the same people started openly suspecting him for no reason other than him defending me. Now it's hardly a certainty I'm a vampire (I'm not) so why are people becoming openly suspicious of my defenders when there's such flimsy evidence against me at the moment? As I said before these same people will likely be the ones that are vigorously against holding you to account come to Tuesday.

Mocky's far too good at this game to even consider attempting trying to strawberry float up the mayor vote to save a vampire even at this early stage so why people are buying into that idea I don't know. Even if he was trying to strawberry float it up he certainly wouldn't be putting himself forward.

Very interesting mayoral vote there - which missed as I was on my way to work.

Late swings are always dodgy. Looks like Dan might have bagged a Vamp and the last votes against him now become very fishy. I propose that if whoever we lynch isnt a vamp - we lynch the other tomorrow.

Mocky's antics smack of a vampire trying to influence a vote. His affected insouciance make him all the more suspicious. He and his backers deserve the utmost scrutiny. I would urge the seers to pay them attention. I would also urge the seers to trust absolutely no one until they have seered them. Misplaced trust - especially from the special roles is what always strawberry floats us.

It's time for some early game paranoia!

I get these mad hunches around this time of every game. It's most likely not worth anyone paying any attention to these, but in case you're interested, my 'suspects' are within the following spoiler box, along with my 'theory' behind them. I'm mainly listing them here not so that they prove a talking point in the thread, but just so I don't forget them so I can see how wildly inaccurate I was when the game is over and the roles are revealed, so, like I said, it's most likely worth completely ignoring this post.

Ropes (2)
Cosmo (4)
DaLax (3)
Roonmastor (1)

The number in brackets denotes the number of posts each has made

My theory is that these people are slightly off the main AYAW radar while still remaining respectable names in general, which means that that any thinking Count would consider them when looking to recruit. This is because (like I've already stated), surely no one would choose the big names or those prone to early death, but a Count would want someone they know won't strawberry float up their plans by being a retard. In addition to this, these posters have posted in this thread just enough to avoid later suspicion, while at the same time not being too loud so as to draw attention to themselves. I can base the value of this off experience from the last game where I was a wolf and I did exactly the same thing.

Wait. Has anyone stopped to think that maybe if both PCCD/Luke turn out to be innocent, it was the vamps idea to keep another one of us off a scent? By thinking that they've stepped up to defend Luke/PCCD could backfire. For example, we lynch Luke/PCCD today and the other tommorow. They're both innocent and suspicion falls off of Dan and Red Devil (just an example, not saying either of them is a wolf at this time). We've now wasted two days worth of lynches on innocents and all other trails will be quelled as it'll be a certainty we'll try and lynch the other one tommorow as that's what the majority will want.

When you break down what it was I was saying then my thoughts were perfectly sensible in suggesting a random vote. The only problem with my intentions is that I waited until 15 minutes before deadline to air them and they quickly garnered alot of support, which of course looks suspicious and gets the paranoia brigade in a tizzy. I had planned to 'do a Dalax' and stay pretty quiet the first few days but on a spur of the moment I put my neck on the line. If I were a wolf I would certainly not play in such a cavalier way. If I were trying to protect Dan.'s choices from lynching then I would have entered the mayoral race a hell of alot sooner so as not to arouse suspicion

However if it turns out that PCCD or Luke are wolves then it won't look good for me and I accept that I will be in the firing line.

Why am I up for lynch? The only reason I've been inactive is because I was out on Friday and Saturday; how long have we been playing for? Three days or so is hardly long enough to really contribute to the game or be judged as an inactive, I feel that in past games as the game has went on I've been one of the most active posters, and I'll definitely become more active in thiis game - the only reason I haven't been so far is because I was out for the weekend!

Although I don't particularly think he's a Vampire, the evidence on PCCD is far stronger - that's not to say it's actually GOOD evindence of course, because no one has any good evnidence at this stage of the game.

Would it be a good idea to have the two potential lynchees' names in the thread title so it's easier to keep track of?

I was arguing your corner purely for the fact Dan's "evidence" on you was terrible. Also see my post above.

A likely story. Why would you want to play like Dalax unless you were a Vampire? There is NO BENEFIT to having villagers who keep quiet.

Okay, but not everyone will open up the first page, find the spoiler box and open that up every day. You can't deny it'd be easier to just have their names in the title. :?

Edit - I didn't know they were in the spoiler box on the first page, so I'd wager others don't.
