I was running. :(

Why would you assume it's crossed wires?

For various reasons already mentioned in the thread, keep an eye on DML.

Not particularly, but I wanted to have every eventuality planned out. Including the one where Parksey goes mad, reinstates his mod powers and bans everyone.

I like that plan!

What's with Mods in this game anyway, cant they look at peoples PM's?

They usually de-mod themselves in the interest of fairness.

Yeah, I remember that was an issue with the Bluehat game, turns out mods can see when people are PM'ing, even if their settings are put to private. So yeah, interest of fairness.

I still don't understand why death posting for humans penalises the remaining humans. I mean, if a human dies, they're dead, they're out of the game, they've lost. Whereas if a vampire dies but the vampires still win they all win. There's more in it for vampires to death post clues, as there's still the chance of victory for them.

If a human dies and still posts, they're still a loser. They're not going to lose anything apart from losing the game for those left alive.

If you died and you still had useful information, you might want to get it out there - sure, you don't win officially, but you were on the winning team.

If you were lynched by fellow villagers, you might be so mad at them you want them to suffer for it.

Another offshot of this is, if Sykes does punish the villagers, does this cast some credence of the suspicion cast on the names that were named? I think the point is that it isnt useful information. I would say that those people may have initially pmed him were just doing so to get him to post so as to avoid the inactive god kill. Maybe Aaron also got a pm. Then when he got god killed the pmers deleted their "post in thread pm" so that he didnt do so. Im not trying to make excuses for those names, just a possible explanation that demonstrates that it isnt useful information. If we were punished again, i think it might cause confusion regarding those names, and thus this will be double punishment.

Can we stop talking about the silly deathposting banana split now? If we had only ignored it, Sykes may not have noticed. He's bound to see now (and if you're reading this, come on, it's not fair to continue punishing us for this).

TBH yesterday he either went through all of what happened since he last posted

or, and I think this is what happened

A Vamp told him so they could gain another kill

In fact as we have been punished already for his zombie post! as he has done it again he should be banned from the next game!

I thought we'd already agreed that after his first post.

If the vampires kill him, isn't it just the same as if they kill a normal villager? It seems to be that the vamps only get two more kills if the Village idiot gets lynched (ie: WE kill him).

Either way, it doesn't seem like that much of a useful role, so I don't really mind the vamps having him :shifty: Unless of course, someone seers Pyxl and he turns out to actually be normal, at which point we can suspect DML again.

That's what I'm thinking. It would have made sense for DML to let us know.

Yeah - but to keep us in the dark, and hope we lynch him, is very suspicious. Especially when you consider Pyxl responded to one of DML's posts about his situation with "How would you know?" (or something of the like).

The fact that Mori nominated him could work for OR against him, but if he 'traditionally' dies early in these games, perhaps the wolves are less inclined to be so cruel. But why?

I think DML and HM should be considered for the lynch tonight.

Any actual evidence for why you want to put me up for lynching? I've already given my reasons for my different playing style in this game.

I think TAP used his seering power of the day to seer the other seer, you see.

I think it's just best to ignore Diabolito, as if we give him attention he'll just come back/we'll get punished again.

As for today, I don't mind that Mocky is Mayor, but I'm annoyed there was zero discussion/competition. We can't just vote people because of who they are, we should be voting people based on their candidates. If you have suspicions air them out in the thread, not in an overly accusing way, but in a way that encourages discussion and opens up leads. I myself have had my eye on a few people and I might run for Mayor on Friday (obviously TAP will be Mayor tomorrow).

Basically what I'm saying is, if there's two people you want to see go up, then run for mayor ffs!

My two cents worth here, I think Red should be a target for lynching. She's playing exactly the way she did when she was a bluehat.

I went through my reasons a couple of pages back.

And Luke - Mocky is mayor to protect him. We need to protect TAP (mayors are immune to vamp kills on the night they're mayor) but no-one can be mayor twice in succession. Mocky is working with TAP, so if somehow TAP dies tonight, we are assured someone survives with TAP's knowledge (and perhaps knowing who the second seer is).

I am only going to run for mayor if I disagree with the candidates that the other running mayor's have. As I have nothing at the moment there is no point running for Mayor.

I voted Mocky because he is in a trusted group with the other two Seers. The same group that has already brought us two of the vampires' heads.

No-brainer for me.
