Here is the video of the second person being picked to go up for the lynch. I miscounted the number of players, there are actually 56 and so I needed four extra playing cards so I used the three jokers and an info card and numbered them 1 to 4. Everyone is assigned a card and then the one picked will be put up for the lynch.

There's no sound btw.

Look in awe at my amazing shuffling skills :fp:

For those who can't (be bothered to) watch the video the two players up for the lynch tonight are:
Cuban Pete and aaronayl1

Shuffling skills to pay the bills! 9 of diamonds is half of my favourite poker hand - knew I wouldn't get chosen.

I think we may have got at least one right....!

Queen of Clubs. 8-)

The four queens should form an alliance, in which we have our various numbered underlings fight to the death for our own amusement.

ACE OF SPADES. THE ACE OF SPADES.

I'm voting Aaron for the lynch. He's a clever player and I get the feeling his inactivity isn't just because of his timezone. Infact, we should lynch him for being inactive. I really don't think killing Pete is going to get us anywhere.

Yeah I was about to ask that.

How can you tell when someone is PMing? :?

It'll say "view private messages" which is usually a good indication.

I know Parksey advised the seers to start a network with seered villagers but I'd advise not doing that and starting a network with the other seer and then moving on to the other special roles (vigilante et al) instead. It's much much safer than with villagers and we've less chance of losing other special roles down the line because of leaks in the network.

The problem with this - and sorry if it's already been address but I am just quickly catching up before going to work - is that it could take an age to find the other Seer, if you find them at all.

As a Seer, you need to tread the fine line between contacting loads of people and pretty much making your findings public, or not contacting anyone but only having this information to yourself.

Yes, the safest way is to find a Seer and contact them, working together to go through a list of suspects methodically. But you're unlikely to get a Seer in the first few days unless you are very astute or very lucky.

It's statisically unlikely that the person you Seer first is the Count, so it's "likely" you can trust that they are a villager. Not a fail safe, mind.

Still, I would urge the Seers to be extremely careful.

Okay, all caught up on everything. Here's a few of the things that have stood out to me so far.

1. I really like the twist of the Count getting to pick his squad. That brings a new third level dynamic in.

2. Satriales got into the mayoral position in a veritable landslide, something which almost never happens on day one, with a few people just popping up to vote for him. This all comes despite him mentioning that he had 'misunderstood' the procedure for lynching. Not someone I would have put my faith in so quickly then...

3. Cuban Pete. idk. I don't remember ever having played with him in an AYAW. It seems more than likely that he is not a Vamp. Is it not true that he posted that status thing of 'I'm a Vampire' before the Count had even picked out his allies? I haven't double checked this yet though.

More analysis after the lynching. Bad luck Aaron.

The whole idea of picking a random person is so that we can all vote for Cuban Pete, as the random guy hasn't done anything wrong yet. As far as I can tell aaron hasn't posted at all on grcade since the game started, but as it's only been a day that's shouldn't be enough reason to get him lynched yet.

Whether you think Cuban Pete is a vampire or not we have to know now otherwise it will just bug us for the rest of the game and make us look stupid if later he turns out to be a vampire.

There is nothing else to go on this early in the game, so lets lynch Cuban Pete.
