By the end my pair rank was level 44 I think. Supported by Swashbuckler in Polychrome for the actual scoring phase (again on Blueprint) on 7 jokers including a legendary. The only failing was having enough pimped cards in deck to draw, had too many plain Red Seal Queens.

This built me up a 70+ card deck of about 20 seal cards, with tarots and planet cards coming in thick and fast and money racking up. Combo with seed money and money tree and I was just rerolling for tarots. A mid game switch meant that I ended on:

Blueprint (negative)
Hiker (I need to get chips as I blast through multi so Blueprint this mostly)
Flash Card (+2 multi/reroll so on +76)
Fortune Teller (foil) +1 multi on tarot usage so on +48
Drivers license (X3, with 35 eligible cards)
Odd Todd (need those chips!)

Lost on Ante 10 as wasn't paying attention to notice last hand, as I could move my Blueprint over to Drivers Licence.

That's Delayed Gratification. I haven't ever really been able to make it viable. There are combos I can utilise that make the most of minimal discards (Burglar; that Joker where you gain +1 Mult per hand played and -1 per discard) but DG only seems to serve to help build cash in the early game, and only really if you're playing a deck that makes it easy to play hands without discarding (Checkered Deck for example).

You're right abour Burnt Joker (though again it relies on Discards!) - it can win a run if gotten early enough. I won my Orange Stake attempt with it as it showed up early, then I got an Ankh in a Spectral Pack. Every Round I was able to upgrade my Flush by two ranks, which was then generally enough to clear the round in one hand even without any additional jokers.

I'm still way off the 100m single hand score, so I've been focusing on the other unlocks. Orange Stake win got me the Erratic Deck, which is great for building up decks with 30+ Clubs (finally achieved last night) and 30+ Diamonds (in progress), plus discarding five Jacks at once. I also need to create a Deck with 5 Glass Cards, play a hand containing 4x Seven of Clubs, and find Perkeo, and then I'll have unlocked all the jokers... except for the 100m one!

I know Plasma Deck and focusing on Mult is the way to go, but I never seem to get any good Jokers when playing Plasma Deck, so the increased Ante scaling kills me off quite quickly.

Anaglyph Deck was the one for getting $400+ ; I got lucky in that an Ante 7 or 8 Tag gave me $1 for every hand played that run, and of course it got duplicated loads. I've also had some fun messing around with the Anaglyph Deck, as it's really satisfying to get six or seven Negative Joker tags, then see what tat the game gives you. My best is about nine Jokers all at once, though most of them added nothing!

you can use dg for high card builds with a stuntman or something as well

Oh man, I did it. 100m!

Anaglyph Deck for the win. I was having no luck with Plasma so decided to play on Anaglyph just for fun, but I had a great run and everything went my way...

Ancient Joker showed up in an early Buffoon Pack (I almost chose Space Joker instead!) so I decided to build my run around it. I got Merry Andy shortly after, meaning I was able to use enough Discards every round to basically guarantee a flush for whichever suit the Ancient Joker demanded. Jupiter cards kept showing up in the shop with really helpful regularity, and the fact I was winning every round with one hand meant I was building up a decent wedge of cash (with the vouchers to earn interest helping on that front).

Not too long after, I got Hologram, so started adding cards to my deck to up that Mult (always ensuring I kept the number of cards for each suit in my deck consistent, so as to ensure Ancient Joker would always be viable), and Gros Michel. Bull rounded out my Joker set, but I was really hoping for a Negative tag, to use up my Double Tags. Eventually, I got one... and it gave me a load of rubbish Runner was in there (I've not played a single straight this run) as was Delayed Gratification, and Banner, both of which rely on not using Discards.

But this 'unlucky' turn was an outlier for the run. Smeared Joker showed up meaning I could ditch Merry Andy, as a larger hand was now far more viable for Flushes than additional discards. Gros Michel went extinct, then Cavendish showed up in the very next shop. My Flush was a high enough level that I no longer needed Bull, so Ramen came in. The cards I'd gotten through Booster Packs had added lots of Steel Cards and Purple Seals (which generated some fortunate Tarots that allowed me to add more Steel Cards).

And then came the coup de grace... another Negative tag! This time, the duplicates gave me: Walkie Talkie, Hallucination (as I was buying every booster, this gave me even more Tarots, and even more Steels as a result) and most critically, Hack. Meaning now, every five-card Flush that would trigger Ancient Joker five times, could potentially trigger it ten if I played 2s, 3s, 4s or 5s. WT also gave +4 mult for any played 10 or 4 (and as I had Smeared Joker, I only needed to play a Red Hand or a Black Hand) so I was putting one of those first, then as many low cards as possible, and discarding / playing unwanted cards tactically to try and ensure my held hand was full of Steel Cards.

I'll try and upload the clip when I get chance, but when it finally played out, it was a thing of beauty. Didn't even use WT on the actual winning hand; I had a Holographic (+10 Mult) Jack with a Red Seal, so played that as my first card, then a full set of low cards to prompt the Hack retrigger. Pure jump-out-of-my-seat, fists pumping the air moment.

I’m enjoying using tarot cards to create decks full of single cards. I had a deck with 20 “7’s” I was popping 5 of a kind every round with huge multipliers. Got to ante 11 but couldn’t make the 14 million, fell short at about 7 million

Ended at the same place as you with my Nebula deck. Best hand of 4m is my best by far. Managed to get two polychrome holograms so by the end that was two 6x and 1.5x

As normal, the limiter became getting enough chips to go with the daft multipliers, even with two foil jokers.

Update has hit consoles now and with it I immediately got my first gold stake win. Yay for that, took a while.

Interesting! I hadn't noticed the update had arrived. Possibly because I've had the game in sleep mode indefinitely for weeks and not actually closed it...

I'm in a similar position - all I need to unlock now are Stuntman and Perkeo (and whichever Voucher is the one upgrade on Paint Brush). I'd like to do the challenges but I fear this would happen...
