Right...

I've just started playing this and something seems to be afoot, I've done the first mission on Hardened, I didn't die, I killed some japs that were lying in the grass, and I saved private Ryan from the burning man, I assumed that these actions should have unlocked some achievements, yes?

Well I went to the achievements section of my gamercard and CodWaW wasn't on there... how odd. I quit to the dash, switched the box off and on, all the usual tricks, and now it is showing on my gamercard, but there are is only one secret achievement listed and that's it, just the one achievement!

What's going on?

There are three people on my PSN list, my brothers friends, who are always on this. Every time I log in, without fail. It annoys me.

I'm thinking of buying a map pack, mainly to try zombie but will also use the maps for multiplayer. Which one would be best to get?

I really got into this game once I realised the MP40 is amazing. There are a few things that annoy me but they seem totally insignificant compared to the cost of the map packs.

7.99 is not fair.

How does the matchmaking work on this? I'm on the PS3 (Xbox red ringed) and once you have been (badly) matched with players the problem gets even worse when the teams are divided seemingly at random. It often is far from fair.

The last set of maps are the best IMO, still confused but they're all pretty big!

They are, aren't they? That Sub / oil rig type map is very maze like. I do like the court yard map (can't think what it's called?)

Yeah i like map pack 3 but prefer to play when they add them to the main map cycle. Thiers only so long you can play 3 maps only.

I got this on the cheap before Christmas and have been absolutely loving it. Treyarch deserve credit for doing so well with such a well trodden genre.

Every mission has been pretty epic, up until the tank level I started last night. I just don't understand why they put it in as it is a definite drop in quality compared to the rest of the game.

Still, really enjoying this and I'm looking forward to Treyarch's next effort. That is something I never thought I would say.

It's a definite improvent over CoD3 (which I also liked).

I am also looking forward to the next one.

I just like CoD games.
