So sorry Ad. I can only echo what's been said already. As Lewis said, look after yourself, and reach out if you need. We're thinking of you both.

So sorry to hear this Ad. Look after yourself and reach out for anything - we're a good bunch here and everyone will do what they can to help even if it's just to give you a space to talk about it.

There are no words that anybody can say that will help, all I can say is that my thoughts are with both of you and I'll be keeping every finger crossed hoping that the treatment is not only a success but as easy on her as possible.

Like Lewis said, we are a family on GRcade. It sounds like a cliche but it's true, we are all here for each other and if you need anything, even if it's just a place to vent, then all of us will do anything we can.

I've been trying to work out what to say, but I think Moggy's post explains it better than anything I could say. I'm thinking of you both Ad.

I’m so sorry to hear this, it is heartbreaking that you had such a long wait to get the help you needed.

If the medical staff don’t offer, ask about support from Marie Curie in your area, both for your wife and for you. They can often help answer questions you might have about practical issues that the NHS don’t cover.

If there is anything I can help you with don’t hesitate to ask, and know that you have support from you GR silly internet friends.
