FIFA 09 - 'The Rivals' - Arcadians Take Series

well guys I PMed Mr Plough so we can start to sort out the details of series 3!

I think one thing we definately need to do before we start picking teams is to create a topic to find out exactly who will be playing again in this series so we know who we've got to pick from.

I should add that my team name is going to be a rather simple one, we will be 'The Tornados' I bet you couldn't see that one coming.

Kudos to Shaun for getting the job. Bring on the new series!

we are going to start a trend with this one...

anyway guys, I'll create a new thread ina sec so we can find out who wants to take part this time around, there may be new players wanting in, there may be old players wanting out so it's best to double check with a new thread for registering your interest.

Also one thing we can say is that the games will remain on Sunday and Thursday nights at 9pm KO. Everybody seems comfortable with that so it makes sense to keep those set times.

The Sunday match was at 9.30pm, you can obviously swap it back if you want to but the reason it was delayed slightly was because so many of us watch Top Gear, so we'll just be coming on at 9pm. Some of us (like myself) like a little practice before we start.

Of course it is completely up to you two to decide the times and dates of the matches.

Freed from the shackles of managing the Arcadians, I have (finally) set up what us FIFA players have been praying for...GRCade FC. We can all finally lay down the differences that have been caused by the Rivals series and become one united club (of course when the Rivals matches are being played this can all go out the window). There are 50 spaces so there's more than enough room for all us regular FIFA players, if you want to join just say so in the main FIFA 09 thread and I'll send you an invite. Hopefully, we can get some regular matches going! BRING ON THE WORLD.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Right because Shaun is busy playing Halo teams will be announced tomorrow morning and the first match will take place tomorrow night as planned. Please try your best to be available for every match as squads are much smaller this time round (great because it limits people moaning about not playing. Bad because it will limit our abilities to bring in new players if someone drops out or whatever). Sorry that its really short notice by the way. If the turnout is really bad we can always push it back to Sunday if need be.
