Not sure how I feel about Sunset Boulevard. Not watched any real film like it before but found myself following it without being bored.
I love the way it shows how a women to old for film has become to living alone dreaming of the glory days. Traps a man young and broke with money and promise of something more.

Love the fact that the policeman is holding the murder weapon at the end!

All she is left with is a love for the cameras

Lights Camera Action!

I sat down to watch Super Troopers with an open mind and unfortunately it turned out to be one of the most tedious movies I've seen in quite a while. It felt too long, there's nothing particularly original about it, and it certainly isn't anything like as side-splittingly funny as it thinks it is - I reckon it got at most one, maybe two laughs out of me. And I've already forgotten what those bits were.

I just don't find people pretending to strawberry float bears and saying meow in any way amusing. I was really in the mood for a good comedy, too. Oh well.

Also: Brian Cox, hang your head in shame.

You should get back in the game Mitch Yost.

I am the complete opposite of Bud Clay. I have seen this movie twice before and watched it last night with the girlfriend (who had never seen it before). I found it just as funny and she laughed all the way through.

Maybe it is just my humour does enjoy bored cops who decide to strawberry float with people rather than just get on with their jobs.

Meow who wants to play the cat game?

I'll be downloading Super Troopers if my library doesn't have a copy, thought it was funny but not buy-worthy. we shall see if the rewatch can convince me.

I watched Sunset Boulevard last night. It's a clever, well written and well directed fil that I imagine was quite ahead of it's time. It reminded me of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang when I watching it, but I can only vaguely remember that film so I don't know if they really are similar at all. Although I did enjoy Sunset Boulevard, I don't think I would watch it again. It was a good choice though and a film I wouldn't normally have watched.

I'll try and rewatch The Blair Witch Project tonight or tomorrow.

I saw Sunset Boulevard today and rather enjoyed it! I didn't really think I would, so I was pleasantly surprised. It's weird watching dead people in their youth, though.
