Knowing the 'cade it's gonna be a Nintendo game. That's just how these lists work around here. Still pleased I got Doom3 included in the list, though. I have to take my little victories where I can.

I quite want to read this alternate bizzaro-GRcade, where the Nintenderati rule with an iron fist.

After listening to POP's games of the decade podcast I'm quite in the mood for this. Time to reopen the Wind Waker debate.

Okay, I'll be drawing the groups today.

20 groups of 8, in the first round we're going to half that to 80. Might make it 5 going through from each group if the groups look tight.

I await the moaning about how all these polls are cluttering-up GGC.

At least Chase won't be here to tell us how we are squandering our potential.

I'll do them two at a time and after a few days have them locked and the next lot posted. We have more threads per page now anyway

Groups have been drawn and I added in New Super Mario Bros at the expense of Colin McRae Rally whatever it was.

Get out. Either Wind Waker. Four Swords or Mario Galaxy should win this easily.

This is just like the World Cup Finals draw. Will we get a 'Group of Death'? Is that Charlize Theron I see over there by the beefburgers?

I don't know whether to have it as 4 or 5 games going through from each group of 8. I think I'll go with 4 which will mean a lot of close voting (each person will get 3 votes)

At the end are we just gonna be left with one game or a top ten or is every game going to be ranked from best to worst? :?:

One game but I'll use votes to make a top 10 list.

Wouldn't it be a lot easier to do it as a proper poll? You can still allow 3 choices per person.

They only allow real hard nosed Nintendo fans into the real GRCade. This bit of the forum is just a front I'm afraid.
