He means the gameplay ranges from pathetic to non-existent because it thinks it's a film.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Plenty of gameplay, it's a hack n slash! I remember killing loads of enemies and I think there were a fair few puzzles too.

Looks like Eternal Darkness will storm its way to GOTD honours.

Dyack vindicated.

...

It's not in my top 10 of the decade, but I preferred it to REmake back in 2002.

It's Resident Evil 4 or Metroid Prime. Nothing else comes close. Sorry.

Indeed it is. Votes have been tallied for Group A, Timesplitters 2, Eternal Darkness, Dead Space & Okami go through.

Also proved my seeding for the games is accurate 8-) (so far :shifty: )

I'll be disappointed if the best sports game ever (Mario Tennis) doesn't go through, it truly is superb.

This isn't directed at anyone in particular, but the idea of voting purely because they're the only ones you've played, kind of skews the results. If there's a group where I haven't played more than half the games, I won't be voting.

Surely the game of the decade has to say something about the decade? Some sort of landmark?

Half these games are good at best. How anyone can say that TS2 defined this decade is beyond me.

Halo or Modern Warfare, yes. Guitar Hero, yes. Even Wii Sports. They're all games that have had a massive impact.

Eternal Darkness - nobody even played the bloody thing.

There are tonnes of games in this I've never even gone near or really considered at all, and even the ones I have played, many of them aren't ones I'd rate especially highly.

I don't think this is right at all. A game is a personal thing and just because a game is not ground-breaking doesn't mean it can't get a place in peoples hearts. For instance my favourite game of all time Bloodwych is average at best and I'm sure some people hated it but it won't stop me from voting it the best game of all time and the same goes for games in this competition.

I know people love the game, but in no way is Demon's Souls worthy of Game of the Decade.

There are 160 games in this thing, they can't ALL be possible winners. So get over it people!

It got the same amount of votes as Timesplitters 2 so I'm willing to bet people have ;)
