Not enjoying Action Sack so much I have to say. Lots of duffers, and it really worries me that this it the best Bungie could come up with at this stage in the game.

I'd probably agree. Spartan Lasers blows, 2 Flag Shottys was pretty pants and Pit of Joy was equally bad. Haven't tried anything else yet but the Tug of War gametype I thought was terrific and I'd really like to see it in it's own playlist type at some point. I will say that I have quite enjoyed Team Rockets when I have played it in the past though...

but killtacular and exterminator I'm finding to be a royal pain in the ass...

Team SWAT is probably the best playlist for trying to get these.

Anyone else think the Mythic Map Pack was really mediocre?

There's just no absolutely epic moments in there. Like Avalanche, Valhalla, Standoff etc, have these ridiculous moments jumping out of Man Cannons, or pulling off crazy vehicular stunts, snipes, grenade moments. Orbital is pretty dull really, albeit with a good flow to it. Assembly is a total by-the-book Halo arena map with nothing that surprising or special about it, and the default Sandbox variants are as dull as Halo gets.

Colour me disappointed!

That's the steppin Razor Achievement, isn't it? That pissed me off so much. So many times I'd get the double and then just not be able to find a third victim.

Surely 'Save This Film' is going to be the daddy of all Halo 3 achievements though? That's the one I'm dreading. I have only ever managed to get one before and that was in a one on one in social slayer where nearly everybody quit and I won 17-0 on construct.

I managed one on a ranked big team battle I think on Sidewinder.

I havem ost of the new achievements now bar that one.

With my gooseberry fool connection Steppin Razor was a bitch. During Sword matches everyone else would have a better connection so would win a "Sword Off".

All I want to play is CTF on Avalanche and possibly Valhalla rotation for a few hours, instead I get shite big team slayer on sandtrap. I miss server lists

I am also annoyed I have to buy the new map pack to play BTB now *sigh* I don't want to spend the money, I was going to wait till ODST.

Sorry to hijack the Halo 3 thread with this, but i'm playing Combat Evolved and i'm on the Warthog run. I can do up to Echo 419's death, but shortly after there's this ridiculously huge jump and anytime i try it, Chief just throws himself out the Warthog.

Does anyone have any tips on how to nail it? I used to be able to do it, but now it's fail everytime

I'd be up for that. I'm Lv43 at the moment but would love to get to Lv50.. I think I'm a really low level in BTB though..

I'd be interested in some squad battling, Shas, but given how low everyone's ranks are generally in that playlist even getting to lvl 30 in it would be an accomplishment.

Have you tried just letting it run as that sounds like the end of the game. This may help

Open Season! Just had a great game on Big Team Slayer, Rat's nest. Rampage/ Open Season and Perfection medals, all ranked My brother picked up a ranked Killtrocity in the same match...

I've been having some real issues with lag today though. Head shots that don't register.. (in custom games!!) and the usual Grifball bullshit about people with crap connections getting the blunt end of the stick...
