Has anyone said 3DS yet? Surely someone must have? I spent £230 and Nintendo try to make it up to me with games I played 15 years ago...cheers Nintendo you money making banana splits, I'd rather the extra £70 I spent back.

I paid £70 more than you and I still don't regret buying a 3DS for that price. I've had some great fun with it already and the games coming out are better and better.

Sounds like buyers remorse to me ]:

I've just done a quick check of my accounts and this year alone I've spent around £10k on frivilous things.

my 2 big purchases were my Japan trip (around £4k) and the Pc around £1k, both of which I don't regret, sure now I'd prefer the money, but the memories from the trip will live forever. And it was all brought with money I'd earned this year and I still have savings in the bank.

Maybe you can bruy some English classes next.

As I think Sputnik said, I find it really hard to spend a lot of money, and so then plan everything rigorously, so there's nothing that I truly regret, I don't think. I can't think of anything which is probably a good sign.

Sure there have been other non-physical things that I've done, like going out with friends when I really should be saving that money. That happened a lot in Japan.

But those nights were always the best.

Ultimately, if I end up persuading myself to buy it, then it's probably worth the purchase.
