I tried it out and did not really notice much difference. Nothing that could have been caused by the petrol i think. Anyway I will NEVER buy expensive petrol again after trying it once. Anyhoo only wasted about £2.10

I have friends who imo wasted atleast £4000 a year in university for living away from home when their home was only between 20-45 minutes away from campus. And then had to get a bus to uni from halls which took 20 minutes plus some queueing time.
They say to me that its the experience of living away from home that counts but my argument was that you will eventually move out anyway when you get a job after uni. So why not wait until after your studies.

well I am planning to sell these items on ebay any day now and hopefully will recoup some of my losses and buyers remorse

I got in debt to the sum of around £6000 when I was 19 buying clothes, going on holidays, etc. Best time of my life.

I like doing* and buying nice things so unfortunately they cost quite a bit of money. I think those of you that think £100+ on a coat is expensive are being extremely tight.

A £200 wallet though. It wouldn't cost me £200 if I lost my wallet! I do need a new one though, but I need a nice one which can also take coins.

That's about right. I get buyer's remorse when I buy stuff just for me. We've spent £thousands on furnishing our new house this summer and that was fine, but I spent £330 on upgraded suspension components for my car and, as brilliantly as it now corners, it still annoys me a bit that i did it.

There's so much on my to-buy list: new surround sound, a desktop PC, a DSLR (for her)... but I've bene holding off because the jobs market is so crap, I'd be worried that if mine went, I'd feel stupid for having surrounded myself with essentially worthless gadgets.

Having said that, we've just spent over £2k to go the The Gambia for Xmas and I've never been much of a holiday person - I still feel like that's a grand I had in my bank that now I don't.

Lol once I thought I'd lost it (when it was actually in the sleeve of my coat coz I was holding my wallet whilst I was putting my coat on ) and the only thing I was worried about was the wallet not my cards or the £20 in it

I also have problems spending any kind of money. It usually has to be really well planned out, I have to make sure I'm getting the best deal possible, and so on. Sometimes the plan goes wrong (like with the trial bike - hadn't planned on being so gooseberry fool at it ) but most of the time it turns out all right.

Money spent travelling isn't wasted, though, unless you go to some club med type place. Getting the chance to see new places and different people is priceless in my hippie opinion.

thanks atleast I saved a good 16k for not living away from home. Only had to pay my tuition fees, some lunch money and train passes. It was like going to school/college still. U seriously like my wallet or was that a sarcastic comment?

I don't think anyone said £100 a cost is too expensive but £200 on a wallet that looks about £10 is something of a shitter
