Master and Commander - 8/10

Seen it before, but just as good this time around. Love seeing stuff about old ships like that, and the British Navy in particular. Awesome stuff. Love the soundtrack especially here. Although I'm a big Russell Crowe fan, Paul Bettany here is excellent. He's a very underrated actor.

Star Trek - 9

Enjoyed it far more than I thought it would, looked beautiful as well. I may pick it up on blu-ray if I see it cheap.

The first Crash is great, the second one is an abortion.

You could at least get the name of the film right before you're wrong about it.

Yeah, on Friday I decided to make my mum watch Taken with me instead of the list of films I was planning to watch. 8-)

90-odd minutes of Liam Neeson kicking arse, it's all you need.

REC

At first I was like "Christ... Let's hope this isn't another Blair Witch Project." after watching the opening scenes. But man, it's much better than BWP. \o/

The "heroine" is so annoying though. Ordering poor Pablo around when hell break loose. If I was Pablo, I'll tell her to fook off! But then there'll be no movie to watch. Oh the dilemma!

I wasn't surprised with the "twist" towards the ending. But it doesn't stop me jumping! A Cheap scares movie.

3 out of 5.

The Orphanage next.
