Dude, he's wearing a suit in the first picture.

Goddamned Slenderman!!!!

I'm strawberry floating knackered as my mind decided to go into over drive starring something resembling the frigging Slenderman! All I remember is seeing those images posted on the 'something awful' forum, only for me to get out my bed, pull back the curtains and see some shadowy figure, in a suit, stood under the streetlight outside my house. He then slowly looks up, a pale white face, red eyes and a massive mouth full of sharp teeth, grinning. Next thing he lifts arms towards me. And they just kept stretching and stretching towards my bedroom window......and then for me to somehow wonder why the strawberry float my window was open.....?! Then I woke up!

You're alive Gandalf. YOU'RE ALIVE. He will never get to you as long as you're alive. He'll stretch at you with his awful creepy face and all and the terror will paralize you, but at the right moment you'll snap out of it, punch him in the face as hard as you can and then leg it. Or just start beating him up until he can't move anymore.

Speaking of creepy stuff, I once saw a gif taken from a movie, "The *something something* tapes", where a weird multiple legged freak wearing a white mask slowly approaches a trembling, terrified girl, and then proceeds to inject her with something. Blah.

Also, I once casually read one of those chain e-mails that say something bad'll happen if you don't do this this and that (like, really!!!), and it ended with "if you don't forward this e-mail a little albino midget girl with blood red eyes will appear out of nowhere tonight and kill you". It was something to do with this midget girl dying because of some horrible disease and her getting revenge for being ignored or something. Well, for some reason that description stuck with me and I couldn't get to sleep that night. It's weird how my mind works, sometimes.

The Poughkeepsie Tapes. I've seen it, it's nothing to write home about TBH.

No, you're right. That gif. clip was probably the best, and the scariest part of the movie. Very, very creepy. I mean't the film as a whole.

Reading the synopsis of the movie I'm trying to figure out how that weird creature fits into it. Is it the serial killer who dresses up like that? Or is there some supernatural stuff going on in the movie as well?

It's a serial killer that dresses up like it. No supernatural stuff. It's basically like the Blair Witch idea of 'tapes found' the serial killer recorded all his victims torture / muder etc. That particular one was probably the most warped of them all.

It was warped, but knowing it's not some witch doctor from hell, but just some nutcase freak makes it less unsettling or...... romantic?

This isn't scary at all. How the hell could he lose him when he runs past in the park? It's as if the people making it think that the Alex guy has the same field of view as the camera or something. And even if that were true, why does he stop turning just before you'd be able to see the man running away?

And if someone was standing outside my house like that I'd go out and ask them what they were doing, not start shaking the camera I would no doubt be holding and run away.

As much as I like the Marble Hornets videos, when you actually see their rendition of Slender man, I can't help but think:

"lol, it's 47."

It's scarier when you don't see him.

I was playing football last night for my 5-a-side team. We play on those massive astroturf pitches at this local high school. Anyway, the pitches are surrounded by woods and as it got darker and darker I couldn't help but check the tree line every so often in case the Slender Man was watching. :fp:

I agree, it's also loads scarier when he isn't walking around peeking through windows at them. He's much scarier when he's off in the distance, just standing there watching.....
