What I'd suggest is that people make a more 'general' perk selection, attempting to squeeze the best performance out of all classes, then have a quick online race making sure you select it. Join Josephs game straight after and they'll be there. I was using Armour, Aerodynamic and...err, Takes-Longer-To-Reach-Critical-Boost.

I've find you can also change perks you want via My Motorstorm. It seems to pick layout 1 all the time, so alert that and you'll be start races with these even if perks were "disabled".

I wouldn't say so, mate. Last nights connections problem was pretty bad. I personally think it's the volume of people in the game together. Perhaps, with 16 players, Evo has bitten off more than they can chew.
