Could the DKR poster be signifying that finally the league of shadows will make Gotham crumble. And out of the rubble the Dark Knight will rise.

As much as I'm looking forward to the supposed teaser before Harry Potter, I've got a feeling it will just be a 30 second one with the logo and barely anything shown. Hopefully I'm wrong.

From Screened:

At first glance, it seems a wee minimalistic. Another riff on that whole compositional theme of the Batman symbol getting formed in the negative space of frenzied scenery; the technique that's so artful been perfected over the course of Batman Begins and the Dark Knight. However, if you know anything about the bigger storylines in the comics, this teaser actually hints quite concretely at No Man’s Land. In that arc, Gotham fell victim to an absolutely monstrous Earthquake which led to the whole city being effectively cut off from the rest of the country. The lawless concrete ruins were then divided amongst all the villains in Batman’s rogue’s gallery like warlords divvying up a nation during civil war.

That's never going to happen in a million years. That's an over-analysis, pure and simple.

Yeah, reminds me of the some of the bollocks being peddled at the teaser screen for Ninja Gaiden 3.

Yup. Seems more like an idea for the follow-up to Arkham Asylum

Ed Norton in talks to play 'Bourne' villain

Edward Norton is in negotiations to play the villain in Universal's "The Bourne Legacy" opposite Jeremy Renner.

Tony Gilroy is on board to direct from a script he penned, with Rachel Weisz also on board to star.

Plot details are under wraps but Jason Bourne will not be featured in this film. Renner will play another assassin who seeks his identity. Universal had no comment on Norton's negotiation.

Besides "The Italian Job," Norton has not been in full-blown villain mode for some time. This marks the thesp's first commercial film since starring as the Hulk in Marvel's "The Incredible Hulk."

There's something "off" about Sherlock Holmes.

The Holmes I know would not running around in drag, nor kissing women.

Is it a remake? By the dawn of the dead guys? I take it thats the new dawn of the dead? So we can expect aliens charging everywhere? :fp: PLease dont be rubbish

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

It's a prequel concentrating on the Norwegian crew who discovered the alien originally.

I'm looking forward to it though if it does turn out to be crap at least I've still got Carpenter's film

I'd normally also be completely against the film, but from what I've read it actually sounds like they are doing it right and it could be quite good, although never as good as Carpenter's film. A very large part of the budget was used for practical effects and CGI is only used to enhance them.

I am interested in The Thing, as long CGI is kept to a minimum and the story doesn't strawberry float up the supposed continunity by having the Thing do er... things it didn't do in the JC film. Like belching out flaming farts. :x

Ronald D Moore also worked on the script so I'm really hoping it'll turn out somewhat decent.

My favourite memory of The Thing was watching it with a Norwegian roommate who pointed out that the Norwegian crew effectively tell you the whole movie, right there at the beginning.
