Dang, yeah, I was just reading about this. I'm so frustrated with how console platforms have all gradually stopped the ability to post screenshots to X/Twitter. I can get by on my PS4 by transferring to a USB stick and uploading to my old iMac and then posting from there... but it's a bit of a pain. On Switch I'm not quite sure what the options are; I think you can use a USB cable (via the dock) but only on PC, not Mac?

Probably won't be posting any more Switch stuff :-(. A lot of folk I follow on X/Twitter post Switch stuff so I guess much of that will stop, too :-(.

Edit: Apparently you can transfer screenshots via the micro SD card. Better, but still a pain compared to posting direct from the console.

Giving people another reason not to stay on the Musk site feels good to me in the longer run.

So that's none of the console manufacturers supporting Twitter now.

It's a shame but was going to happen eventually. I'm surprised it remained a feature on Switch for this long after the other consoles dropped it.

It's not as snappy but you can transfer captures from your undocked Switch with a phone charging cable or any other that uses the same kind of connection, to PC. At least this way you can transfer them in bulk and you can bypass Twitter compression if you want to post them elsewhere.

Yep. I had a Twitter account set up specifically to host old screenshots and videos. I nuked it yesterday.

Had a monster energy drink disaster while in bed, didn't realise till after I'd cleaned up the mess/changed sheets etc that both my switch and the wire going into it were wet (I was charging it). Quickly disconnected everything and put it on a shelf leaning on something to so charger was at bottom. Woke up the next day and attempted using the dock downstairs...the light just kept flashing on and off so I left it.

Came home from work and I thought I'd use the charger going to the dock driectly and it didn't work so thought that was it for my Switch. I was browsing how much a refurb is and just thought I'd check the plugs, plug was seemingly fine, but plugged the it into my Xbox headset (I use it to charge it all the time and got nothing). Then I unplugged it from the socket and plugged it back in and long story short, switch is fine and charges fine, no idea what shenanigans happened but it's all resolved. Maybe the plug shorted itself or something?

I guess that it is a possibility, Fisher. Castlevania DLC was released for Dead Cells and it is also coming to V Rising... so maybe it could arrive for Vampire Survivors at some point.

While it is on other platforms, I've been playing it on the Switch, so take a read of my thoughts on Little Kitty, Big City and just why it is an absolute joy to experience. And I guess I'll throw in some photos as well.
