Post Pathetic Facebook Status Things

For the large part, status updates don't bother me. But I do hate it when someone writes

(Person's name) is.

As if they're making out to have a Kaufmannesque understanding of themselves. I can't think of anything more anti-existentialist than Facebook.

...Maybe I'm thinking about this too much.

It's probably because they didn't realise that they need to press "clear" rather than just deleting what they had written in the text box.

I'd rather read a pointless status than have seen that "epic lulz" inspired spree you decided to do on GR's final night. Denster was treating this (that) place like a personal blog at one point, too. It's really no different to pointing random shite in the Midnight (or any other) Thread. They do it because they're bored. I've seen people telling people about what they're eating on GR before too.

Its a valid point to be fair. We do put some tedious gooseberry fool on here and on GR at times. i know im more guilty of that than most.

My status is currently:

Sam, James, and Owen narrowly escaped the Blade Runners last night.

Because I was baked and thought that the police were Blade Runners. I instantly stared at them as soon as they entered the kebab shop

This girl I used to go to school with constantly posts updates on her tragic life, it always makes me laugh :lol:

This is the last couple of days

is taking a few days off from fb speak to you all soon xxxx

Then just a couple of hours later posted

is fed up of being used by people who say they are your friends

is fed up of being lied too and having jokes being played on me by so called friends and only wanna know me when they want something.

i feel fat, frumpy and ugly, is this why i get used and lied to by friends.

After which one person posted she wasn't ugly (so they must think shes fat) and another person posted she isn't fat (so must think shes ugly :lol:

BTW she is fat and ugly :lol:

Man, she was annoying as hell though. Worked out okay in the end as I dated some other girl soon after for a good while.
