Heathen. The plots in STC rivalled those of Homer himself. Take for example the masterpiece below:

Sonic's long lost "brother" Tonic (genius!) appears and attempts to seduce Amy. The denouement was particularly affecting, wherein everyone realises they've grown thanks to the traumatic experiences they have recently suffered.

I remember buying that first issue, I also remember it came out the same day as the first issue of HEAT (Which I did not buy before you ask)... HEAT is still going but Sonic is not. The world is a messed up place

My dad forgot to buy it for me so I had to start from Issue 2. I do have a copy signed by all the artists though. Bless my cotton socks, I lost an issue and wrote to Fleetway directly, including the £1.35 in the envelope. Richard Elson signed it!

EDIT: This one

They portrayed Super Sonic so well; as a murderous, insane alter ego.

STC was absolutely amazing. The build up and the eventual defeat of Robotnik in issue 100 was a particular highlight.

At least he's not all good in the Fleetway comics. I hate the goody two shoes Super of the past decade.

Was there an issue of Sonic the Comic where Tails flew his aeroplane across the world so that the enemies would get jet lagged and die?

I had that one.
