So much for the hope that this patch might not take the full eight hours. At this rate we'll be lucky if it's actually up again by 4.

Whilst I don't really like voidstar (well it's better then the Alderaan turrent warzone); it can be an excellent level to gain valor/commendations - we had walked the defence and opposition didn't even get past the first door, so on attacking we got to the final doors and just started killing the opposition over and over rather then complete the level - I think I had about 50ish kills at the end :lol:

I'm hoping they get around to adding more Warzones, I love hutball but can happily never play the other two again, there needs to be some variety at lower levels

On that subject, with the new level 50 warzones, does that mean level 50s won't appear in warzones with lower levels, or do they still get the choice of which game to go for?

Oh dear.

The Ilum changes mean that people have farmed turrents, with the bonus for controlling points and got to Valor 100 in a few hours:

Is this Bioware once again completely failing to understand MMOs?

I think it might be.

It's been the best launch to an MMO that i recall, wow had monumental balls up;
The Corrupted Blood plague incident was one of the first events to affect entire servers. Patch 1.7 saw the opening of Zul'Gurub, the game's first 20-player raid dungeon where players faced off against a tribe of trolls under the sway of the god Hakkar the Soulflayer. Upon engaging Hakkar, players were stricken by a debuff called "Corrupted Blood" which would periodically sap their life. The disease was also passed on to other players simply by being near infected players. Originally this malady was confined within the Zul'Gurub instance, but it made its way into the outside world by way of hunter pets or warlock minions that contracted the disease.
Within hours, Corrupted Blood had completely infected major cities because of their high player concentrations. Low-level players were killed in seconds by the high-damage disease. Eventually Blizzard fixed the issue so that the plague could not exist outside of Zul'Gurub.

Besides i think the game looks alot sharper today :wub:

Yes, I recall the corrupted blood malarkey. I was actually playing WOW back them. :lol:

Because it's very unlikely that this will result in any usage of the banhammer at all. Banned players don't pay sub fees. (A Valor rollback? Possibly)

It's not any kind of exploit as far as I'm aware. It's simply a symptom of the fact that the sides on Illum are completely unbalanced in favour of the Empire.

Could be speaking out my arse though. I've not managed to get beyond about level 25 so far due to a case of the alts, and server changes.
