My wife has bought me Skyrim & Saints Row The Third for Xmas, therefore, these aren't being included in my budget.

Bought the Skyrim guide (£16.99) and my wife wanted Move Fitness (£14.99 - and because I'll use it too I thought I'd include it here).

May just get Mario Kart next week, but again, it may be something that my wife ends up buying me for Xmas.

I'm definitely getting better at this, but I'm still yet to have a year where I keep within budget. With my wife on maternity leave until next June (and maybe not going back to work) I really need to be more careful next year. Actually, if I hadn't have bought a 3DS I'd still be well within budget as I've not bought that many games.

I haven't updated in a while, obviously I've gone over my original budget now. What I think I'm going to do though is have another target which adds on the cost of my 3DS hardware and try to stick within that. It'll basically mean I will have £220ish from my last update, I've probably spent £120 of that, which will leave me £100 for the rest of the year (£50 odd of which is allocated for MK and SWOR).

I just want to keep my bargain spending within that £50 odd. With the amount of games I have waiting to be played it should be well doable.

I'll update my budget later on and I'll add in a seperate part for my changes to what I'm spending.

Not counted Fifa 12 as my dad gave me the money for it and it's now a crimbo present!

I've also just bought Super Mario 3DS Land and Mario Kart 7 for £26.96 each. Not including them on here yet as I think one of them will be an Xmas present off my mum. If I keep the other, then I'll update my details on here. Also, UDraw, which I ordered yesterday (see above) may also be an Xmas present off my wife. When I find out what games are going to be Xmas presents, I'll update where I'm up to. Skyrim, which was previously going to be an Xmas present may now be replaced by something else, so I'd have to include it here.

No matter what, I'm still gonna be way over budget again.

I won't mind stepping up again and take it if nobody else is interested - for now, just registered my interest being runner of next year if nobody else wants to do it.

I've stayed well above my budget. Throughout the year I only bought a couple cheap Steam games and two or three £5 retro games, and sold practically everything I had so it balances it the hell out.
