Much better clean up of Lennon's vocals. It always bugged me that whatever they did for Free as a Bird and Real Love, they made his voice sound far worse than the demo tapes.
Now and Then is not a bad song. It will sit quite happily in the lower to mid range of Beatles tracks. But as a final record, it's a tad too solumn for me. I guess the complete end of anything is bittersweet, but if Real Love had been done properly I think that would be a better finale.
I'm pretty sure I found the album from a recommendation here in probably the GamesRadar days, but Everyday Chemistry, and the "story" behind it, is well worth a listen. I actually quite like the story:
