But the discerning Man U fans will be wearing these:

Worst Man Utd shirt in years. The goalie kit is absolutely horrendous!

Don't say that. Oh wait, I don't support Man U.....I agree, it's terrible.

That's the nicest Scummers shirt since the first AIG one they had (the one with the white V-neck)

Far less offensive on the eyes than the Super League effort last year, and the one with the stripe down the back which seemed little more than a ploy to get people to have shirt printing.

I wasn't a fan of last season's kit either, but the one before that was just pure win

United play Celtic tonight (midnight, in fact) in Toronto.

edit:  @ that keeper kit

It looks grrrrrrrreat!

 :fp:

I hope that's not a standard keeper template for all Nike-supplied clubs. I want a plain, classic green or yellow shirt to go with our 70s kit 8-)

Templates :fp: And I thought the Manchester United home kit looked loads better when worn.

FA Cup replays may be dropped to accommodate winter break

• Proposal forms part of plans to revitalise FA Cup
• Fabio Capello believes break would benefit England

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010 ... nter-break

It'll help teams in the CL too! Though I hope the Boxing Day game remains and they put a ruling in banning teams from going on tours during the break.

Why not just drop the League Cup?

That would be my preference too, that and dropping the number of PL teams to 16.

Dropping it entirely... would it be a bit too harsh on the smaller teams money wise? What if they made entering into it down to the clubs? But then it may be hard to get a sponsor for it if all the big Prem teams stayed away. Best to keep it, just let clubs carry on fielding young players until it gets to the business end of the competition.

Do you want to hear my idea for football revolution?

No? Well tough.

English football is regulated into three divisions instead of four and the Blue Square Premier.

Each division contains 33 teams, and each team plays each other ONCE either home or away, sixteen home games, sixteen away. These alternate season on season as much as physically possible.

FA Cup remains in full format, League Cup scrapped.

The whole of football is closer together, play-offs can be wider to include more teams, and more teams have more access to money.
