I started reading that Simpsons thing last night but stopped before I reached half-way.

But wasn't that suicide Mickey cartoon a fake originated from 4ch*n?

That suicide mouse terrified me the first time I watched it, despite the fact that nothing actually happened :shifty:

I just read That whole Simpson's thing, and listened to that recording, and even though it's 11 in the morning it has given me the proper creeps. :fp:

There's one with some guitar music overlaid alleging that the picture the video shows may be from the episode, but it'll most likely be from the episode where Bart imagines being killed by Nelson.

I hate how the stories are ruined at the end with weird stuff like an employee at disney killing himself after coming out of a room muttering cyrptic stuff and the grave at the end of the simpsons one predicting the dates of when some guest stars would die :/

I wonder if the Simpsons will ever spoof the Dead Bart thing?

Also, I wonder how long it'll be before South Park spoofs the Dead Bart thing?

Hulohot wrote:Part 4: Creepy Recordings

The following clip is believed to be one of the first sound recordings ever taken.

It has only just been able to be played back because no one realized that it was a recording at all. In 1860 Frenchman Édouard-Léon Scott de Martinville invented the phonautograph. It could transcribe sound to a visible medium, but had no means to play back the sound after it was recorded.

this is the voice of a woman singing “Au clair de la lune” and it was recorded 149 years ago. The recording was initially believed to be a woman but it is now thought that it should be played at a lower speed – in which case it sounds like a man who is suspected to be the inventor himself.

That is several kinda of awesome. All the more awesome because it sounds ever so faintly like the Dr Who theme.
