It's not just Rik and Silva. There's many other people who spark arguments on here and it's always been the same. It's not something that was created by these console vs PC debates. They've been going on for as long as I can remember on GR. Not saying it's a good thing, but it can't be helped. There is a massive clash of personalities on this forum.

Are you saying that it should just be allowed then as that's a rather sad indictment of this place. I've had plenty of heated yet completely civil arguments with people like MCN, Winckle and Karlprof because they don't dissolve into slanging matches and personal abuse. If you're fine with this place becoming a cesspool of anger then ok but that doesn't mean everyone is and maybe it's time for a few bannings to be handed out for continued abuse whoever it's from.

I, on the other hand present valid arguments and discussion points. Not everything of mine is just trolling. I created a thread about the state of the gaming market and how digital download services are shaping the landscape of PC gaming, yet the first page was full of trolls like Rik trying to bait people and flat out turning the thread into a PC vs console thread.

There is a whole world of difference between me, and trolls like Rik and HSH who sniff down any comments that suggest something is greater than what a console offers, and they counter it with why you shouldn't game on a pc and how consoles are more powerful and better for gaming....I mean what the strawberry float is that nonsense?

And now we have the snitch aka canton, and rik whining to mods that they're going to leave and trying to blackmail them into banning people else we're faced with their departure.

I went to a nice school where everyone pretty much got on, and the most heated arguments I ever witnessed there were in year 8/9 art between the SNES/Megadrive owners, and the Gameboy/Game Gear owners.

Suffice to say, there emphatically weren't any winners there...
