I use the term "bot" loosely, to include people who set up accounts and follow countless random people for no apparent reason, without tweeting anything of any sense themselves. I just look at how many following/followers they have. If it's thousands, and they've followed me without me following them, they're probably not someone I want anything to do with.

If you click the follow all option you will. They dont have to follow you though.
