FIFA 09 - 'The Rivals' - Arcadians Take Series

Ok, this is it.

Next week, FIFA 09 hits these shores and apparently changes the videogame footy landscape forever. The reason? Online 10 players vs another 10 players on LIVE in full on team games. Now is the time for a GRCade FC.....or is it?

No. Thats not enough, heres the proposal.

How it works.


The aim is to get enough regular players to make two RIVAL GRCade teams. GM has agreed to run one side, and for now, until a more suitable candidate can be found (considering I have not really played much FIFA 08), I shall run the other side.

These two teams will be pitted against each other initially in a set of seven games, the winners being the first team to win four games and win the GRCade Series!

THE FIFA 09 'THE RIVALS' DRAFT!



Team GM (soon to be renamed something better) and The HurriCades have now be at random drafted their players. The two teams have agreed to a series of seven games to decide who wins the GRCade FIFA Series Cup! The first to four victories will of course win, and these matches are to be played on different nights.

Both teams shall set up a thread in the Challenges and Online Gmaing Folder, and its up each team to individually organise themselves into a well oiled unit with awesome threads for team chat, tactics and arrangements for online duels.


Also transfers CAN occur, but that must be done through the managers of each team, and it is STRICTLY one for one, ie, one player must go to the other team both ways.

One quick question, are there ways of playing this online with say, 5 people or (as maybe the name suggests) does it have to be 10 players per team to play? I've got a couple of friends and we want to start a team but we're going to have trouble getting 10 people together for games y'see.

I think if you play with less, CPUs fill in, but I'm unsure.

Also, I will be looking for a full on replacement for my team. I shall 'Joe Kinnear' it for now, but I shall be looking for a more suitable candidate to take the reigns of The HurriCades.
