gooseberry fool, i forgot all about that. They filmed some of it in northampton and they used one of my dad's bars for storage and as a green room during the day as they used a factory that backs onto his premises. I also met Nick Frost as well.

Are you refering to Northampton as well? i k now that it was also shot elsewhere.

I met Roy Keane, Brian Kidd & Brian McClair at a store opening once about 10 years ago. Got their autographs, too.

The others are assorted comic related people.

Mike Mignola created Hellboy.
Adi Granov is a comic artist and did all the suit designs for the Iron Man movie.
Paul Cornell writer for comics and Dr Who.
Dave Gibbons was the artist on Watchmen.
Charlie Adlard artist on Walking Dead.
Mike Carey has written a lot of stuff X-Men etc.
Sean Phillips is artist on Sleeper, Criminal, Marvel Zombies, amongst other things.

Northampton. He has pretty much lived here his entire life. One of his novels is based on the town. The inside jacket of my LoEG says:

The factory that Kinky Boots was filmed at was on St. Michaels Road, I think. It was about 30 seconds from where I used to live.
