It's the people who just can't seem to eat properly which annoy me.

I used to have to sit next to a guy who had seemingly never been taught basic manners, and ate with his mouth open making *that* horrible, horrible sound. When he got his sandwiches out I took a fake toilet trip otherwise I might have blown a fuse. It's perhaps the thing which annoys me the most.

It's really, really irritating. I hate eating with people who do that.

It annoys me no end. All you have to do is wait for it to cool down a bit FFS!

Tea is best when slurped. If the brew is a good one, I like to follow up with "Ahhh".

It's a little affectation I allow myself.

Personally speaking, I can't stand people who bite their cutlery whilst eating.

I'd tell them. I would have told the person sitting opposite me but he doesn't speak English so I thought about resorting to the universal language of violence.

Steve: what kind of loud noises? Some just can't be helped with for physical reasons (when the bones are not in the ideal position)... or is he burping and smacking?

The thing that annoys me the most is when people audibly suck their fingers with that 'pop' sound when the finger quickly exits the mouth. If you don't have the foresight to have a piece of tissue or a napkin to hand, and if you really have to do it, just do it quietly, for the love of Zeus.

People who don't eat properly as in they don't bite their food, just tear it apart.
