I don't know how current it is over here, but the odd 'new' episode I catch on Channel 4 is always disturbingly bad.

Ever since I can remember people have been saying that the Simpsons is coming out of its slump. Sometimes I believe them, briefly, then I actually watch an episode. It's like how every Oasis album has been "their best since Morning Glory".

Some newer HD episodes I've seen have been ok. But on the whole it's still very forgetful. So much so infact I can't remember the episodes.
