I'm now suspicious of those that voted for Satriales as mayor, without posting in the thread beforehand. Here's why...

A sensible pack on Vampires know that they need only ONE heavily active Vamp in the thread at any one time to represent their wills.

I am convinced that there are at least a few vamps hiding by not posting, it's a strategy I would try!

The vampires know one another's identity - therefore they'd know Pete wasn't a villager, and so back this campaign for all it's worth. After all, it saves them even trying to create a false trail, and still gets rid of one villager and earns them three night kills.

Also:

2. Satriales got into the mayoral position in a veritable landslide, something which almost never happens on day one, with a few people just popping up to vote for him. This all comes despite him mentioning that he had 'misunderstood' the procedure for lynching. Not someone I would have put my faith in so quickly then...

I am assuming people voted for Satriales over HM simply because Satriales is more popular, even though they're both offering the same choice, and that OTN lost out because he nomiated HM for the chop simply because HM posted before him (/& he dislikes HM?). Once people saw Satriales was ahead they voted for him because, well, they all offered pretty much the same thing: Cuban Pete. So while I'm not saying Satriales is not a vamp, I don't think this is a particularly strong lead, and I wouldn't call his win a 'veritable landslide' either.
