You can listen to it here: http://grooveshark.com/#/album/Stereotomy/184049 although they don't seem to have track 5.

Just started it and yeah it sounds like the soundtrack to a cheesy 80s film.

Just gave Stereotomy a listen, it certainly sounded dated to me, but it's alright I suppose. I liked the track Beaujolais.

5/10

I think the first/last track was the weakest, but overall it wasn't too bad actually. 6.5/10

I need to listen to the last couple of albums. I'll get hold of them when I get back home later on. :shifty:

Don't really know what the hell I'm listening to. Seems like a random assortment of sound clips. Lyrically speaking.

Kinda like it though, after a few tracks.

Just yesterday I was trying to remember who sung that Drinking in LA song.

Gimmie Sheldon (the first track) isn't BV3's finest hour. Might be best to bypass that one.

Bran Van 3000 : Glee - 7

Really enjoyed this. It took a while to adjust to the record, it was a bit like watching the first ten minutes of Moulin Rouge for the first time, your brain can't quite comprehend what's happening. After it had settled, I thought it was great. There's a lovely slacker chill-out vibe going through the whole record. Drinking In La and Afrodiziak are the obvious highlights, but there's a cracking change of pace when the pop gem Exactly Like Me dissolves into the plaintive Everywhere. In fact I was all set to give it an 8, but it got a little self-indulgent towards the end, and it's blatantly at least three tracks overlong. Plus I think we could have all done without the Cum On Feel The Noize cover. Still, great stuff, thanks Mommy! :-)

Listened to about half of the album. It's not for me. I'm not going to rate it though, would be unfair doing so having not given it a full listen.

I don't know what to make of the album (Glee,) there's some songs which seem alright. The you have others which are dire. I think it's to do with the varying styles of music from track to track.

Glee - So far so good. First two tracks were pretty good, I really enjoyed them, the second one had me wondering where I had heard that jungle/D'n'B sample from... Was wondering what "Drinking in LA" was about as I couldn't recall it then it started and I thought, "Oh strawberry float, not this gooseberry fool. I hate this".

It didn't make me switch off but it has made me a bit wary about the rest of the album. So far I'm up to "Forest" and it is back on track. I'll post my final analysis when I have heard it all.

I'm afraid my laptop's broken at the moment so I can't listen to anything for a week or so :(

I'm in two minds about this. I can quite happily have most of the tracks playing away in the background as I drive along but then some of them do nothing for me. Some good ideas going on, some hit, some miss, but overall I quite like it, so I'm going to give it a 6/10.
